Milton’s Cottage
Visit Milton’s Cottage Trust – Registered charity 163039 - this Grade 1 listed building is the only surviving home of the visionary poet and political writer John Milton. Now a museum, there are three rooms displaying rare books, paintings and prints that give a unique insight into Milton’s life, work and influence. See the extensive collection of Milton’s published works and relax in the quintessential Grade 2 registered English cottage garden which is recognised by English Heritage.
