Chedder Gorge & Caves

Cheddar Gorge and Caves tower 450 feet into the air and plunge 450 feet into the Earth. This natural and ancient spectacle, set in the heart of Somerset, is a truly natural jewel of Britain. Cheddar Gorge is a significant site of ecological importance and is classed as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), as well as a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) with an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
