HAMILTON ENCORE ANNOUNCES TRAVEL & TOURISM PARTNERSHIP WITH RECORD BREAKING WEST END SHOW

ENCORE OFFERS TRADE THE CHANCE TO BE IN ‘THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENS’

Encore has today launched a travel and tourism industry partnership with multi-award winning and critically acclaimed musical HAMILTON.

It’s the first time in HAMILTON’s ground-breaking West End history that any organisation has been able to distribute tickets via the travel trade.  The new initiative gives pre-approved sales partners the ability to be in ‘the room where it happens’ and include HAMILTON in their clients’ London itineraries, working with FIT and group packageable rates provided by Encore. Partners can currently book tickets through to 5th September 2020.

Encore was the natural first choice for a travel and tourism partnership thanks to its unparalleled global reach and innovative approach to travel technology.   Approved partners will have access to tickets via all of Encore’s sales channels including its state of the art API, enabling instant confirmation for both prices and seat locations in the securest of purchasing environments, a factor which is of utmost importance to the show.

Jo Bachelor, Head of Sales at Encore said  “Encore is delighted to partner with HAMILTON on this worldwide travel and tourism initiative. With our global reach, secure technology and best-in-class team, Encore is uniquely placed to give HAMLTON the kind of support this global brand requires as it takes its first step into the travel trade market.   I know HAMILTON is going to prove a huge success with our sales partners and their customers!”

Winner of 7 Olivier Awards, 11 Tony Awards, including Best New Musical, the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album  HAMILTON has smashed box office records both on Broadway and in The West End where it is now in its third blockbuster year at The Victoria Palace Theatre.

HAMILTON is the story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and helped shape the very foundations of the America we know today. The score blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway – the story of America then, as told by America now.

HAMILTON has book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire and is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton.
