Daish’s Holidays invests £1 million in winter refurbishment programme
to elevate guest experience


Leading family-owned UK coach holiday company Daish’s Holidays is set to invest £1 million in a comprehensive refurbishment programme across 10 of its hotels this winter. This investment reaffirms the company’s ongoing commitment to elevating guest experiences and modernising its portfolio ahead of the main 2026 season.
The winter refurbishments will cover improvements 155 bedrooms as well as interior upgrades to entertainment, dining and lounge areas at some hotels.

The improvements across the Daish’s Holidays’ hotel collection include:

Sandringham Hotel, Weston-Super-Mare: £250,000 investment focussed on 90 enhanced bedroom upgrades and improvements to public areas.

Esplanade Hotel, Scarborough: Refurbishment of the restaurant as well as 10 bedrooms.

Somerset Hotel, Llandudno: Interior upgrades to 10 bedrooms and a communal lounge area for greater comfort.

Barrowfield Hotel, Newquay: Renovations of up to 10 bedrooms and the introduction of contemporary furniture in the entertainment room.

Abbey Lawn Hotel, Torquay: Improvements to be made to 10 bedrooms.

Russell Hotel and Prince Regent Hotel, Weymouth: 15 sea view rooms at both hotels to receive upgrades to meet strong guest demand.

Daish’s Hotel, Isle of Wight: 10 bedrooms upgrades including a number of the popular garden view rooms.

Bournemouth Sands Hotel: Décor enhancements to be made to up to 15 rooms.

Imperial Hotel, Eastbourne: Refurbishment of up to 10 bedrooms.

Work is scheduled to take place from early January, during the hotels’ traditional closure period.
