BTTS 2026: Driving new ideas for coach touring

Every successful coach tour begins with fresh inspiration - and the right places that welcome groups. It might be discovering that a Victorian prison in Oxford is both accessible and memorable for your passengers. Or realising that Highland adventures at Nevis Range can be easily built into itineraries with coach-friendly facilities and dramatic scenery.

On 19 March 2026, the British Tourism & Travel Show (BTTS) returns to the NEC Birmingham, bringing together the UK’s coach and group travel community. With more than 200 exhibitors and 2,000 visitors expected, it’s the UK’s largest group travel trade event - and the most efficient way to refresh your tour programmes in a single day.

Inspiration from every route
From Cornwall’s coastline to Scotland’s Highlands, BTTS brings together destinations and experiences from across the UK and Ireland, along with selected highlights from the near continent.

On the show floor you’ll meet the teams from Chorley and Blackpool to Plymouth and the English Riviera. Many more destinations will also be represented, ready to share what their regions offer for groups.

Visit Wales will highlight the nation’s heritage and landscapes, including over 600 castles and three national parks that combine history, scenery and outdoor adventure. From across the Irish Sea, Tourism Ireland will present its vibrant cities, dramatic coastlines and the warm hospitality for which it is renowned.

With Devon’s Top Attractions, you can build varied itineraries for your passengers - from a river cruise with Stuart Line to quiet moments at Buckfast Abbey, or exploring the industrial past of Coldharbour Mill.

Attractions and stays with group appeal
Continuum Attractions offers a broad range of experiences across the country - from exploring Edinburgh’s Real Mary King’s Close and taking in Portsmouth’s Spinnaker Tower to family adventures at Greenwood Family Park in North Wales.

Heritage railways add a nostalgic layer, with the East Lancashire, Gwili Steam and South Devon Railways offering journeys that combine traditional charm with scenic backdrops.

Accommodation is central to coach touring, and trusted names such as BWH Hotels Great Britain, Classic Britain Hotels, Daniel Thwaites and The Q Hotels Collection provide the comfort, value and group-ready service operators rely on.

Beyond Britain
Inspiration doesn’t stop at Britain’s shores. For operators building longer-haul itineraries, Fred. Olsen and Ambassador Cruise Lines provide ocean voyages from UK ports, while CroisiEurope offers a gentler pace of discovery along Europe’s rivers.

As Vickie Reekie from Voel Coaches says: “It’s the best show to visit, with plenty of new suppliers giving a great source of inspiration.”

Expert insights
The Theatre programme enriches the experience further, with free seminars led by industry experts, offering practical tools, tips and trends to help shape future group travel plans.

A day of discovery
BTTS 2026 takes place on 19 March at the NEC Birmingham. Bringing together destinations, attractions, suppliers and industry knowledge, it remains the key annual meeting place for the coach touring and group travel community.

Every great coach tour begins with a spark of inspiration – find yours at BTTS 2026.
